一 |     Colombo, Oct 13 (UNI) If all goes well, there will be direct flights between Colombo and Lumbini in Nepal where Lord Buddha was born.

Sri Lankan Shipping and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva on Wednesday discussed the issue with Nepal's Ambassador Bashu Dev Mishra, the Daily FT reported on Thursday.

The Ambassador said flights already in operation between Colombo and Kathmandu could be extended up to Lumbini.

This, he said, would be a great relief for Sri Lankan pilgrims visiting Lumbini.

Remember that most of these big chips are designed here in the US, manufacturing happens overseas.
